Empowering individuals to live independently with tailored support, meaningful routines, and a team that genuinely understands their needs.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Supported Independent Living provides individuals with the opportunity to live more independently while receiving the support required to maintain safety, routine, and wellbeing.

At AYP, SIL is delivered with a strong emphasis on stability and relationship-building. Support is structured, yet personalised, ensuring that each individual feels comfortable, confident, and supported within their living environment.
Support may include:

  • Assistance with daily routines and personal care
  • Development of independent living skills
  • Support within shared or individual accommodation
  • Ongoing monitoring and tailored care planning

The goal is to create a living environment that feels secure, empowering, and aligned with each individual’s pace and lifestyle.

Assisted Daily Living

Daily routines are essential to maintaining independence and wellbeing. AYP provides practical, respectful support that allows individuals to manage everyday tasks with confidence and dignity.

Support is tailored to each individual and delivered in a way that promotes independence rather than dependency.

  • Meal preparation and nutritional assistance
  • Household tasks and organisation
  • Medication reminders and support

Each interaction is approached with patience, understanding, and a commitment to maintaining the individual’s autonomy wherever possible.
